Last Modified date with links

Hello,

I was wondering if it would be possible to make a template or something so I can have a link to another page, but the link shows the last time the page was updated?

We have lots of pages which should be updated regularly and it would save time to know which ones are outdated, without having to go to each pages history.

I don't know if you could use a template to do this, but you could achieve it by making an extension. This would enable you to get the last edit date of pages in a similar syntax to;

<lastEdit>
page=Main_page
</lastEdit>

To return the last edit date of the Main page, for example. It shouldn't be a difficult query to return the last edit date of a page.

Thanks for the help, I hadn't created any extensions yet, but after doing this I have some ideas of some new stuff I can do now.
