Default Automatically Stub Pages...Can it be done?

Can I set up Mediawiki to automatically throw a Stub at the top of pages that are under a certain size?

    Create a bot (see mediawiki.org).

Alternatively, you could install a boilerplate extension and have it put the stub in every page when it's created. Then just get users to remove it if it's sufficiently large.

The bot will not have to rely on the users.
